Created for durable, precise and repeatable printing in anodized aluminum.

The NF series are IMAGO’s industrial inkjet printers designed for the production of nameplates, operator panels, technical markings and other items where printing durability, aesthetics and process stability are important. With drop-on-demand technology, specialized CMYK nano inks for aluminum and working on sheets up to 510 × 1010 mm, the device allows you to build modern, cost-effective and predictable production.
Anodized aluminum is the material of choice wherever a print is not only to look good, but also to remain durable for years. The anodic layer improves aluminum’s resistance to corrosion, scratching and UV radiation, gives the surface an aesthetic appearance and enables permanent printing due to its porous structure. At the same time, the surface remains chemically stable, non-toxic and stain-resistant.

It’s a solution for companies that need not just the printing itself, but a stable production process: from sheet, to printing, to sealing.
Thanks to the porous structure of the anodized layer, IMAGO nano-inks penetrate deep into the aluminum surface. After printing, the layer is sealed.
The finished print acquires a smooth, glassy surface and high resistance to abrasion and external factors.
You produce markings that retain legibility, aesthetics and performance longer, even under demanding operating conditions.
The NF SERIES offers a printing field of up to an impressive 510 × 1010 mm.
You can print larger production layouts on full sheets and only later direct them to cutting, punching or further processing.
You increase productivity, reduce manual logistics of individual components and make much better use of operator time.
The device works with DOD inkjet technology and achieves a resolution of 720 × 720 to 720 × 2160 dpi with specialized CMYK inks.
Fine text, thin lines, complex symbols, technical pictograms and codes remain perfectly legible and aesthetically pleasing.
This is crucial in the production of technical plates and descriptive panels, where absolute accuracy and repeatability of parameters count.
The NF series is equipped with a built-in sub-suction, precision built-in heating and a print drying module. All controlled from a touch panel.
The sheet is stably positioned, the ink application process is 100% predictable, and the operation of the machine is simpler for any operator.
You get a more reproducible end result, fewer time-consuming start-up trials, and more efficient daily production operations.
Integral to the process is a process bath, necessary when printing on anodized aluminum to chemically seal the printed sheet.
Printing, sealing and further processing form one consistent, tested technology workflow delivered straight from one manufacturer.
Instead of assembling a process from random components, you implement a solution that is easier to standardize. You start production immediately after installation.
Printing on anodized aluminum is used in the production of durable industrial signage, identification elements, operator panels, information boards and premium products that need to maintain legibility and high visual quality for a long time.
Production of durable plates for machinery, equipment and various components.
Apply descriptions of functions, icons, parameters and technical designations.
Production of accurate information, identification and utility boards.
Applications requiring greater resistance to working conditions and the external environment.
Applications where aluminum is to combine technical function with premium aesthetics.

The NF series from IMAGO is not a product from a global company’s catalog. It is the result of the work of the Polish R&D department, which has been designing digital printing systems for the industry for years. When you buy a Single Pass, you gain direct access to the engineering team that created it – and two specialized labs.
Before you make a decision, our engineers will test your most difficult materials. At ProofLab, we’ll select the optimal parameters, primers and ICC profiles. You’ll see real prints on your products – and know the exact results of your adhesion tests before you sign the order. It’s our responsibility for your success.
When standard inks are not enough, our chemical laboratory comes into play. Here we develop innovative formulations – from inks with special adhesion, to functional (e.g., conductive), to dedicated solutions for the most demanding industries. Your unusual material isn’t a problem – it’s a challenge we enjoy.
When you choose IMAGO, you don’t become an anonymous customer of a global brand. You gain a partner with its own technological background, who understands Polish production realities and speaks your language. Problems are solved in hours, not weeks. Modifications and customizations are possible because we design and manufacture the machines.
Do you have questions about technology differences, the implementation process or printing capabilities? We’ve compiled the most frequently asked questions to help you better understand how Sapphire differs from other equipment and how it can realistically support your production process.
The NF series is used for permanent printing on anodized aluminum, especially in the production of nameplates, operator panels, technical markings, health and safety signs and decorative elements.
The anodic layer has a porous structure that allows permanent coloring and printing. In addition, it increases resistance to corrosion, scratching and UV radiation.
